i love this bed from habitat, they call it the 4 post bed...i only see 3, but whatever. unfortunately, you cannot buy online, but they say, 'coming soon'!

certainly wood has every type, shape, color, tree wood veneer you could every want. and its only about $1-? a square foot. so not bad, and they take any size order (however, you might have to buy in their sheets, which can be up 125" long). 
below this piece is $2.50sq ft and it comes in 24"-36"

tufted ordeal

i like to have my head against something when i'm lying in bed and reading before i go to sleep. i've been wanting a tufted headboard for a while and they can run from mid 300's to the 1000's, depending upon fabric, size, yada yada. 
Charissa a loyal follower of apartment therapy submitted this project that she accomplished with great results and the best part, it only cost 110 dollars. she gives you step by step instructions to pull this off. don't like tufted headboards? do all these steps, except the 7-9. 
FYI, you could probably make a small under the table gig with this...

i hate to say it, but urban outfitters got it right with this chair. its clean, classic and still has that worn-in look i like to see with leather items.

trunk show

searching for wooden trunks, i found out how expensive they are. brettunsvillage.com from auburn maine, have "as is" trunks, that are way below the average cost of 400-500. as well as instructions on "how to" refinish trunks yourself, and cool leather handles and straps. 

factory outlet

factory 20 finds vintage oddities that normally probably wouldn't sell at a yard sale, but somehow they have made a business selling stuff, that is old and moldy for a pretty penny. they have great photographers that actually make you think that this stuff is worth the money.
