brook farm general store
this brooklyn store looks like its straight out of the country...hence the name i guess. i love the wool blankets and the handmade towels. their store is quite great too, check out all the pictures from inside their store here from decor 8.

lady of the manor
loving anthro's wallpaper selection...perfect for lining your dresser drawers, your closet walls, or maybe behind your bookshelf for a pop of pattern...just a suggestion.
modern goes country
even though i am not a huge modernist fan, who doesn't like dwell magazine? dewell's november issue is all about 'Back to Basics. Modern Goes Country.' the cover below is some house in europe, which i couldn't find images for (so go buy the magazine), but the inside to me feels unfinished compared to the outside.
the second house is couple of hours outside chicago and i think the getaway cabin is well done and simple.

andrew pinkham
found out about a new local artist during the fall festival that i volunteered for this weekend. he does portraits for all of the species, however, i think that the animals are far more interesting.

modkat
this crazy litter box is accessed from the top, which might have your cat confused on what to do where. i like the idea that my dog cannot access the litter either, and my cat hopefully cannot tromp litter everywhere outside of the litter box. its gonna cost ya $180 (yikes, i know!) and it looks pretty big from some of the pictures that i have seen.
piet
i am amazed with how creative people are when making projects for their house. check out this fireplace made from ethanol from fredrik hylten-cavallius.
